Terms of Service

1. Staging service

These Terms govern use of the Skill Gaming Platform staging service. The service is under active development and is provided for free testing of skill-based competitive game functionality.

Real-money mode is OFF. The staging service does not currently offer deposits, paid stakes, cash prizes, or withdrawals.

2. Accounts

You may authenticate using an available supported sign-in method, including Google or email. A successful first sign-in may create an internal player account automatically. You are responsible for maintaining control of the authentication account you use.

3. Player names

You may be asked to choose a public player username. Usernames must satisfy the platform rules and must not impersonate staff, abuse other users, or contain content prohibited by applicable platform policy.

4. Fair play

You must not attempt to:

• tamper with authoritative game state or server requests;
• use automation, exploits, or unauthorized tools to gain an unfair advantage;
• interfere with another player or the availability of the service;
• circumvent account restrictions or security controls;
• manipulate results, ratings, matchmaking, or competitive records.

5. Authoritative gameplay

Competitive game state, timers, accepted actions, and results are determined by trusted platform systems. Browser state or user-submitted claims do not override authoritative server records.

6. Availability and changes

Because this is a staging service, features may change, be unavailable, be reset, or be temporarily suspended for testing, maintenance, security, or development reasons. Production availability is not promised at this stage.

7. Restrictions

Access may be restricted or suspended when reasonably necessary to protect users, competitive integrity, service security, or platform operation, including suspected abuse or violation of these Terms.

8. No real-money authorization

Nothing in these Terms enables real-money play. Any future paid feature would require separate product, legal, security, compliance, and operational readiness before activation.

Information handling for the staging service is described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated as the service evolves. The current version and effective date will be published on this page.
