Staging service
Privacy Policy
Effective: 31 August 2026
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how the Skill Gaming Platform staging service handles information when you create an account, sign in, choose a player name, or use competitive game features.
This is currently a free staging service. Real-money mode is OFF. The service does not currently accept deposits, stakes, prizes, or withdrawals.
2. Authentication information
The service uses Supabase Auth for authentication and supports Google sign-in and email authentication. Google and Supabase may process account information needed to authenticate you, such as your email address, provider profile information, and authentication session data.
The game platform does not use your Google account identifier as its permanent platform identity. After trusted authentication, the platform maps the verified external identity to an internal account identifier.
3. Information stored by the platform
The staging platform may store information including:
- an internal account identifier and account status;
- the trusted external authentication provider mapping;
- your chosen public player username;
- account capabilities and authorization version;
- game participation, authoritative game events, results, and related timestamps;
- security, audit, reliability, and abuse-prevention records.
4. How information is used
Information is processed to:
- authenticate users and protect accounts;
- create and maintain player accounts and profiles;
- operate authoritative multiplayer gameplay;
- protect competitive integrity and prevent abuse;
- investigate errors, security incidents, and service reliability issues;
- develop and test future platform features.
5. Service providers
The staging service uses infrastructure and authentication providers including Google, Supabase, Vercel, and Railway. Those providers may process technical information according to their own privacy terms when providing authentication, hosting, database, networking, logging, or application infrastructure.
6. Security and authority
Browser data is not treated as authoritative competitive truth. Trusted server-side systems validate authentication, authorization, gameplay actions, and durable game history. Access to server credentials and privileged database operations is restricted.
7. Retention
Information is retained for as long as reasonably needed to operate and secure the staging service, preserve competitive and audit history, investigate incidents, and meet applicable legal or operational requirements. Retention rules may be refined before a production launch.
8. Your choices
You may stop using the staging service at any time. Requests concerning account or privacy information can be sent using the developer support contact shown on the Google OAuth consent screen for this application.
9. Changes
This policy may be updated as the staging service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating this page and its effective date.
